CHALK FOR PEACE

On September 21st, a small but energetic group of Bodwell students took chalk in hand and wrote messages of love, friendship, peace and multiculturalism during a bright and sunny lunch break.






His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama optimistically calls the 21st century "The Century of Compassion." How can we further promote this ideal?

Graduation 2009

This is a picture about graduation 2009, we had graduation on July 10th. That took almost three hours long. Because we have lot of students graduation this year. Congraduation to them again.

My name is Haley. The spot that I been choose is the seaside beside Bodwell. It is a beautiful place in vancouver, and every tuesday we will go to there to see what's the change. On next week, our class teacher Ms. Bain will give us some seeds to plant it, the plant that I been choose was carrot! I hope I can plant them out and grow them up very soon!

there are a little tree it's has some littele flower.

-only one bud came out.
-midlle of the tree almost dead.
-wet becouse of rain.
-growing up.
-it has more leaf than before.
-top of some leaf is becoming yellow.

- the flowers dead totally

Lisaco's Spot @bodwell

i have a scence technology class with ms. Bain and my friends. on tuesday of every weeks, i need to obserb a leaves that i chose about 2 weeks ago. i think it will be grow bigger than now. therefore, i have to correct some information and drawing down on my notebook about that.
still i dont know how it will be, for i checked it only 2 times.

when i observed my leaves at first time, it was really short (around 18cm height, and 2cm width).
the colour was dark green and a little bit wet because of rain.

im going to observe next week also.

I am Hiromi.I am from Japan.
I am Science Tecnology 11 student.
I like my classmate(Mari,Risako,Harey,Eumi,Diego,Shogo,and Issay) also my teacher who is Ms.Bain.
I watch the bad which is my baby on every Tuesday.
The place is near the ocean also it is a closet liberal.
It high is taller than me a little anad very thin.
The bad's color is white right now, but few days ago it was green and there is down.
There are 11 bads on the twig.

nina's seeds

My name is nina. I planted carrot. Some of my carrot I plant #1 has so many seeds.(maybe 5 seeds),a little water and so much soil. And some #2 seeds have so much water ,a little soil and a little seeds.(maybe 2 seeds). I predict that #1 with so many seeds , a little water and so much soil to will grow faster.
Today , I observed my seeds, there is no growth on the first weekend. Because i usually forget to give my plants some water. I think sometimes, I give my plants so much water ,so my plants do not grow. I think my plants will die.

eui jung's seeds

hellow~!!>_< My name is Eui Jung. I planted mesclun salad. It's not growing because I don't give it water. I observed it well die; I don't want my plants to die but i don't want to give water either!!!!,,,,,it's so boring.

Mark's Seeds.

My name is Mark. I planted Radish. Some of my Radish. I put many seeds on number 1 and i put few seeds on number 2. Many seeds are grow more fast and few seeds are grow slowly. My seeds are keep growing up now. I have green thumb. My seeds are growing very fast. I'm very happy.

My name is Ruben. I'm from Mexico and I planted carrot. I have two plants one with a lot of soil and the other one with less soil. I tinhk that the one that has a lot of soil is going to grow faster.

I like everything: food, animals, and a lot of things.I have dogs and my plant is very good right now, it is veri big.
